Today we reviewed our final project...and not one student felt overwhelmed.

You will write a paper critically analyzing the Community at Pembroke Academy from the perspective of a sociologist and including all the elements/terms listed below.  You will bold and underline each term each time you use one of these included elements.  Your paper will be academic in style and use verifiable examples about the Pembroke Community at large to support your claims.  You will however refrain from using names or signifiers of specific students.  Accompanying this paper you will need to create a power point presentation highlighting the ten most important aspects of Pembroke Academy from a sociological perspective.  This presentation will be given to the class and should be as engaging as possible.  It is recommended that your format is akin to The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight or Seth Myers A Closer Look.  You will include a minimum of 20 images to highlight the points you are making.

Today in class we learned the four new countries for this week's map quiz.  Lebanon, Israel, Jordan and Qatar.  You also have a current event due on Monday the 9th on Iraq.  Homework tonight is to complete your background packet on Iraq.
